Dad was a mechanical engineer for large commercial buildings. As a kid, I grew up going to his office and drawing. By middle school, I was on his CAD program drawing duct work. By the time I reached high school, I had taught myself programming on the fly. I knew how to manipulate the program to get it to do exactly what I wanted. That’s where the idea of Integrated Design first started, but it would be many more years before Rachael and I would launch our own business. Now, with Integrated Design, me and my team work to create building plans the contractors and installers don’t have to question. All they have to do is follow them. That is our objective every time a job is complete.
