The Gathering Place

We were honored to provide our services on the Gathering Place building project! The Gathering place is a 66.5-acre state-of-the-art park globally recognized as one of the best parks in the world. This project was budgeted at $400 million, and the final cost was $465 million. We worked on all of the main buildings at the park, including their newest addition, the Discovery Lab. We provided the HVAC ductwork on all three of their most significant buildings on the property and their underground maintenance facility.

Williams Lodge

Williams Lodge is a common area with two stories. People enjoy lunch, study, and meet with others in this space. There are two large separate living room-style areas with fireplaces and many couches, chairs, and tables. Off of one of these spaces is an enclosed conference meeting room. The downstairs is home to the cafe and gift shop that leads out to an outdoor fireplace and more seating overlooking the pond. The Lodge has state-of-the-art architectural structures that you won't find in many other places. Everything from the panoramic windows to the ridged wood ceiling was purposefully built and designed.

The Boathouse

The Boathouse is a waterside three-story building home to a restaurant, boatlift facility, activity center, and administrative offices. The Vista restaurant sits on the third story of the building. The floor-to-ceiling glass windows provide a beautiful view of the park and downtown Tulsa.

The Discovery Lab

The Discovery Lab is the newest building addition to the park, completed in early 2022. The Discovery Lab is a non-profit that started in 2007 and was, for a while, a museum without walls. In 2013 they opened and moved into their first facility. They have permanently moved into the new 57,000-square-foot building at the Gathering Place. The Discovery Lab is the perfect place for families to spend the afternoon!
